Kahlua's Dark Lily

Kahlua is one of my favorite foundation dams. She's a well built Chilean/Peruvian alpaca with density and tight crimp. She has uniformity over the blanket but is now demonstrating guard hair at age 8 years. She is a sweet, solid proven female, not at all shy and fairly easy going. Easy to handle, doesn't mind being touched. Her offspring display the genes of the sire. She is an excellent mom who births without trouble and nurses easies. Her 2017 cria was a true black male born on day of the total Ecliplse. Unfortunately he did not survived, but obviously, Kahlua carries a true black gene. So far, she has given birth to three female cria while in my ownership and three males. She's a great mom, delivers without trouble and nurses without issue. She loves carrots and is quite a piggy when it comes to them. She has been bred to Sebastian Graceful Arrival for a fall 2018 cria that will provide improved fineness, architecture and uniformity. On Sept. 12, 2018, a lovely medium fawn female cria was born. She has been rebred to Sebastian for a 2019 cria. Kahlua is one of my favorite foundation females and I know when bred to the correct male, we will have stunning cria.
