This package contain two 1 year old merino rams born last January on my farm. They are twins born from my ewe, Susie and ram, Nutmeg. All are genetically related to animals raised on the reknowned Mendenhall Wool Ranch in Loma Rica, CA.
They boys have produced a lovely, zipper crimped, taupe colored fleece that is so typical of fine wooled merino. They have been banded (maybe no so well!), tails docked and vaccinated. One is polled and the other has lovely horns. They have been handled but are still skittish.
These boys are related too closely to my current ewes that they are considered excess here on my farm. They are priced as fiber animals, not breeding stock.
